“SLAMMED” by Colleen Hoover
In an English class from an American high school, each student must write his poem, and he has to deliver it in front of an audience, by using their voice and their bodies for outstanding performance.
I think it will be an excellent idea if, in a Romanian high school, the students will do the same. To be encouraged by their teachers to write their poems. To be encouraged to write about their feelings and thoughts. (The famous singer ADELE said in an interview that she wrote her songs only because of a teacher who “forced” them to write their songs.)
“There are no rules, you can write about anything. You can write about love, food, your hobby, something significant that’s happened in your life.”
“Write about anything, as long as it’s something you’re passionate about. If the audience doesn’t feel your passion, they won’t feel you- and that’s never fun.”
“It shouldn’t matter what anyone else thinks about your words. When you’re on that stage – you share a piece of your soul.”
